The hiking trip by OGKL to Gunung Cantik is now rescheduled to 15 and 16 August. At that time, I am still in Kota Kinabalu. With that, I have to say that the plan to join them is off.
Have to think of what to do on the last week before going to Kota Kinabalu. There are various options to consider but they are all repeat trips!

Salam... actually the track toward this mountain is quite easy and unique...
The starting point is directly behind the BOH factory... You have to walk until you reach the end of the road...
The indication that you going the right way is by passing a tea plantation and a tagged route... Make sure you are going upward...
After the tea plantation, you'll reach the forest area and a marked route...
Keep going until you see a fall downed barret... Good luck
